A big "WOOF WOOF!" to Springdale High School

The Arkansas Department of Education has designated Springdale High School as a school that "Meets Standards" in status among the other public schools in the state of Arkansas.  This is based upon the results of Arkansas End-Of-Course exams in Algebra 1, Geometry, and 11th grade literacy.

Furthermore, SHS was rated among "Schools That Exceed Expectations" by the Arkansas Department of Education. This is defined as those Arkansas public schools whose students have show exceptional growth in their End-Of-Course exam results.

Great job SHS students and teachers!

Zero Hour – Inclement Weather Policy

To parents & Zero Hour Students

Tune in to local TV stations and radio stations for information regarding school closings during inclement weather.

It is our policy to alert students the day before a predicted snow/sleet/ice event that Zero Hour classes will begin at 8:00 am instead of 7:45 am. This delayed start time should allow the students and parents time to tune in to local radio or TV stations to learn whether school will be held that day prior to venturing out in dangerous road conditions.

If Fayetteville, Rogers, or Bentonville schools announce that they will be closed, Zero Hour at SHS is cancelled that morning.
